Dental implant aftercare in Jaipur
A dental implant is a fixture in bone. It needs the same daily cleaning as a natural tooth, plus reviews. This note is general information from Bhardwaj Dental Centre (BDC), not a personal plan.
The first days
Follow the written sheet from your surgeon. Typical advice includes a soft diet, no smoking, and not disturbing the site with fingers or vigorous rinsing on day one. Swelling and bruising can last several days. Fever, spreading swelling, or bleeding that will not stop needs a call to the treating clinic — Shastri Nagar, Paanch Batti, EHCC, or Civil Lines — or hospital care if breathing is affected.
Cleaning
Once you are cleared to brush, clean around the implant crown like a tooth: brush twice daily, clean between teeth, and keep reviews. Food trapped at the gum line is a common reason implants get inflamed.
How long they last
With maintenance, many implants last 15 years or longer. That is not a lifetime promise. Bone quality, bite, smoking, and missed checkups change the outcome. BDC’s oral and maxillofacial surgeons (including Dr. Satish Bhardwaj and Dr. Alok Bhardwaj) plan cases in Jaipur after examination.
When to book
Book sooner than your review date if the implant feels loose, the gum stays sore, or you chip the crown. Read the implant service page or book.
